This is Brittany. Isn't she gorgeous? I met Brittany when we were both in high school (perhaps even before that?) at a mutual friends birthday party. She was there with her sister and two of her cousins who all went to school together. I remember thinking how cool they were and how much I wished I could go to school with my cousins. The next time I saw her was on a group date. We went boating. Again, I didn't know her very well but I thought she was amazing. When we got to BYU our first semester, miraculously we were in the same chemistry class. We spent quite a bit of time together in class and studying. The next semester we were again in the same chemistry class and as we were both applying for nursing school we became good friends. We both were accepted to the nursing program and have been in classes together ever since (sometimes having every single class of a semester together). She has definitely helped me SO much as we've gone through 3 years of college together. 
She's intense.
She also loves frisbee and is amazing at it! I think one semester she was on 5 teams at once. She plays for the BYU women's ultimate frisbee team. She puts a lot of time into something that she loves and I really admire that. Nursing school is hard, but she still finds time to continue one of her favorite hobbies (and still gets better grades than me ;).
She also plays the piano very well, and continues to make time for that (and organ lessons) amid all our other crazy classes. She has the funniest sense of humor that catches people off guard at first because she can also be very quiet. She loves to draw when she is explaining things to people and then erases it as soon as she's done. She also talks really fast when teaching people ;)
Not only has she helped me tremendously academically (doing group study sessions, sharing notes, collaborating for tests, and teaching me all the concepts I didn't understand), she has helped me through some pretty emotionally tough semesters and taught me so many life lessons. She left last Thursday for her nursing study abroad in Ecuador and, even though I'm going to miss her, I'm sure she'll have an amazing experience. I love her ;)
This is Laura: She also is amazingly beautiful. Laura is in the nursing program with Brittany and I and last Fall semester I was so lucky to get assigned to her clinical group. I knew her before then, but not super well. However, when you're in a clinical group with someone you have a certain bond that only comes when you share stress from the same clinical instructor, assignments, and patients. We became really good friends that semester and basically she saved my life. Fall semester was super difficult for me but she knew exactly how I felt and how hard it was and how to help me get through it.Laura basically has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard. She is a perfect, clear, soprano that makes singing high sound effortless. I love listening to her.
When I first met her she seemed pretty quiet, but that impression completely changes once you get to know her ;) She has some of the sweetest relationships with her roommates and I'm jealous I don't live with her. She has inspired me to be a better person and has helped me become more confident in myself. She taught me a lot about dating and how to move on after painful breakups. I love her confidence and her positive attitude. And she gets hilarious when she is tired.
When I have a bad date or something doesn't work out dating wise I always call Laura, even when it's one in the morning. She always makes me feel SO much better about life and about what has happened and helps point out all the positive things about a situation. Not only does she do this for me, but several times when I have been with her she has received calls or messages from people seeking her sound advice and compassionate heart. Tomorrow she is leaving for Ghana and the next month of my life is going to be so much duller without her and Brittany. I will forever be grateful for how much she has impacted my life and helped me overcome some of the hardest things I've faced so far in my life. She's fabulous and I love her.
No, she's not engaged, but she is definitely taken ;) Isn't she beautiful?!
Needless to say, I am going to miss these girls a whole lot. I haven't gone more than a week without seeing them and probably not even that long without either calling or emailing or messaging them to tell them about what's going on in my life. But they will only be gone for a month. I think I can handle that.
