Resourceful

Today, thanks to Lise, I decided to buy this swimsuit. Yeah, I love it.

However, I wasn't sure what size I was. I looked at the sizing chart but I never remember my sizes. I mean, who remembers the circumference of their waist in inches? Not me. Because I was already at work I didn't have a tape measure with me-I don't usually carry those around-but I wanted to figure out my size right away.

So after looking at options and trying to figure out what I could do I had a brilliant idea. I didn't have a measuring tape, but I did have a ruler. As long as I could use something limp to wrap around my waist I could then measure that on the ruler. But I didn't have a rope, or string, or shoelace, or anything.

But I had my headphones! :) Using my headphones to wrap around and using the ruler to measure, my attempt to figure out my size succeeded.

I just hope no one saw me walking into the bathroom with a ruler, headphones, and my phone. :)
