100 things

Rebekah, I am copying your blog post. I want to do the 100-things-I'm-grateful-for challenge from the December Ensign. What a cool idea! And how good to do that at Christmas time.

On page 6 of the December Ensign it has a Gratitude Challenge. Write 100 things you are thankful for, divided into these10 categories (10 each): physical abilities you have, material possessions you are grateful for, living people, people who are deceased, nature, things about today, places on earth, modern inventions, foods, and the Gospel.

So here goes:
Physical abilities: 

• My voice which enables me to sing
• The ability to run
• Good health that enables me to work and go to school
• Agile fingers that I can use to play the piano (and all the other bazillion things they can do...)
• Eyes that can see
• Ears that can hear to listen to beautiful music
• My sense of touch
• Taste!  Especially right about now--what yummy food we have during holidays.
• Smell (isn't this so great?)
• The ability I have to move myself without any need for assistance

Notice how there are no boys included in this list? Yes, I feel that that is kind of a problem in my life right now...

Well, I did it. And those are just a very few of the things I thought of. I have SO much to be grateful for! I need to remember this more and feel more gratitude to my Heavenly Father. Life is so beautiful!
